Weekend forecast for Halloween events in Southwest Florida

Halloween weekend is here, and this year too, Southwest Florida is a great place to have fun!

The weather forecast for Friday calls for pleasant temperatures until the mid-70s in the evening with a strong west breeze. On Saturday mornings and afternoons in particular, showers can occur as a westerly breeze blows all day. Halloween Sunday looks good with mostly sunny skies and highs close to 80.

Here’s a round-up of some of the holiday-related events happening in town between tonight and Sunday. Enjoy, have fun and remember to drive extra carefully this weekend and keep an eye out for children near roads and crosswalks!

FRIDAY NIGHT EVENTS (OCTOBER 29)

HALLOWEEN PARTY ON THE ROOF (FORT MYERS)

Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center – 2301 First St, Fort Myers

The rooftop bar in the art center is open from 8 p.m. for a Halloween costume party with Selecta AJ from 105.5 FM! Tickets are $ 10. Come in your best costume, an award will be given to the best! No weapons of any kind are allowed with any Halloween costume. Learn more here.

COLLIER COUNTY’S BOO-TACULAR HALLOWEEN (NORTHERN NAPLES)

North Collier Regional Park – 15000 Livingston Road, Naples

A fun event for kids of all ages! The park will have a non-scary “ghost walk” from 6pm to 7pm, with a pumpkin hunt at 7:15 pm. A costume contest for children aged 0 to 17 started at 7:30 p.m. Face painting, food, bouncy castle and photo box will all be there for your family. Tickets are $ 5 at the box office, but children 3 and under are free

FILM “HAUNTED MANSION” IN THE PARK (ISLAND OF MARCO)

Mackle Park – 1361 Andalusia Terrace, Marco Island

The Haunted Mansion (PG rated) starring Eddie Murphy will be on the big screen outside in Mackle Park from 6.45pm. Learn more here.

LATER AT THE PORT (PUNTA GORDA)

Downtown Punta Gorda

The largest, scariest haunted house in our entire area is open in downtown Punta Gorda for this year’s Haunting on the Harbor event. Tickets are $ 15 with fast pass options for $ 30. This haunted house is not suitable for children, nobody under 6 years of age is allowed to enter the house. Younger kids will enjoy the carnival games and rides, and the whole family will enjoy the food and live music. Learn more here.

HOCUS POCUS OUTDOOR FILM (FORT MYERS)

Alliance for the Arts – 10091 McGregor Blvd, Fort Myers

The film “Hocus Pocus” will be shown outside on the big screen from 6pm. Buy your tickets in advance here.

OKTOBERFEST (CAPCORAL)

German-American Social Club – 2101 SW Pine Island Road, Cape Coral

Although Oktoberfest is not a Halloween event, it is an autumn highlight for the city of Cape Coral and attracts thousands of people every year. Come for the festive music and authentic German food and see why so many people come back year after year! Tickets cost $ 8 at the box office. Check out the band plan and learn more here.

SATURDAY EVENTS (OCTOBER 30)

TRUNK OR TREATMENT (ESTERO)

Koreshan State Park – Intersection of US41 and Corkscrew Road

The park is a great event for kids, with a trunk-or-treat event, food, entertainment, and crafts between 12pm and 5pm. The cost is $ 4 for single occupancy per vehicle or $ 5 for up to eight people per vehicle. Change will not be provided, please bring the exact change with you. Learn more here.
