Miami Heat Injury Report: Kyle Lowry out against LA Clippers

The understaffed Clippers need all the help they can get on their brutal 8-game road trip and it seems like the Miami Heat may be understaffed themselves.

Kyle Lowry, KZ Okpala, Markieff Morris and Victor Oladipo will all line up against the Clippers. Also, Jimmy Butler will be questionable with a toe irritation. Lowry is out for personal reasons and has not played a game since January 15 – this is his sixth consecutive missed game.

As always, the Clippers will be undermanned. The team are still without their two best players in Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. They will also be without Marcus Morris. Still, they found a way to rack up one massive comeback after another. LA is currently on a two-game winning streak after defeating the Washington Wizards and Orlando Magic in a head-to-head. They defeated the Wizards with an historic 35-point comeback and defeated the Magic with a 14-point comeback.

At this point, it would be fair to assume that the Clippers’ scout is that they never give up. The team has racked up four comeback wins in the past two weeks:

Jan. 11, Denver Nuggets: 25-point comeback
Jan. 21, Philadelphia 76ers: 24-point comeback
January 25, Washington Wizards: Comeback with 35 points
Jan. 26, Orlando Magic: 14-point comeback

Even though the Miami Heat don’t have Jimmy Butler or Kyle Lowry, it looks like they will have both Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro. While it seems like a no-brainer to say the Clippers need to get off to a hot start, they somehow won without doing so.
