Buzz: Kevins Charles led the Titans (16-1) into the Metro West final with 19 points, while Cam Miles had 18 points, EJ “Jizzle” James added 17 points and Jackson Outlaw scored 16 in a balanced offensive effort. Myles Mayfield had 16 points for the Eagles (9-7), while Jalen Brown added 14 points.

Buzz: Malachi Hampton and Darius Livingston each scored 17 points for the Mustangs (17-2) to help them advance to the Metro West final. KJ Robinson and Austin Rolle each added 11 points for Wekiva. Tae’veon jones had 17 points for the Wolverines (12-4), while Isaiah Dorceus added 13 points.

Buzz: The Kowboys advance to the state quarterfinals at their own gymnasium, thanks in part to one of the program’s female wrestlers. Kealonie Vega, who will be signing a letter of intent on Friday to wrestle at Gannon University in Pennsylvania, wrestled at 106 pounds in both matches for Osceola, and she won by pin against Steinbrenner. Also stepping up for the Kowboys was Felix Rodriguez winning a match while filling in at 120 pounds.

Ryan Phillips (134 pounds) and Malik Emptage (287) won by pin in their weight classes.
