Rescue Me: Tallahassee And Her Beautiful Eyes Are Ready For A New Home

Patch News

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Tallahassee, a dog available for adoption through the Fredericksburg SPCA, is looking for a forever home for her and her beautiful blue eyes.

Tallahassee is originally from Florida. She was taken to Virginia earlier this year to seek shelter from Hurricane Ian.

“Tallahassee’s icy eyes look like she came from Arendelle castle instead of the Gulf of Mexico,” the Fredericksburg SPCA told Patch. “Her blustery blues are no match for the warmth in her heart – this gal has a lot of love to give.”

Even in new surroundings, Tallahassee has adapted. She’s made new canine and human friends at the SPCA.

“Tallahassee attended our Fred SPCA Animal Rescue Festival and was relaxed and comfortable around new people and other dogs,” the SPCA said in a news release. “She loves running around with her doggy playmates at the shelter and going for a stroll with our volunteer dog walkers.”
